So now that Amazon changed their pre-orders so that you can no longer get discounts on Collector's Editions (Best Buy still allows it) and can no longer double dip on price-matched discounts, do you still pre-order from them?

Ive never ordered games from amazon. I buy in store at walmart or order site to store and pick up launch day. Other than that ibuse Best Buy, and ebay for cheaper preowned games.

Nah gonna go full digital can't be assed to walk a couple of feet to change the games

There is zero reason to buy games from Amazon over Best Buy. GCU is infinitely better than Prime if vidya is your only concern.

Stopped preordering from Amazon after finding out the discount only applies to the msrp price. If the game's price is lowered by 20% before release(which happened twice for me and I've seen several other games I had no interested in go for 20% cheaper on release as well) you get 0% off. It almost feels like a scam.
90% of collector's editions do not sell out, anywhere, and invariably become discounted, so fuck Amazon, this shit changes nothing. I'll just fucking wait to buy it, they can suck my dick, I'll pay less and they'll like it.

It's looking like it. In the past, they would price match Best Buy and Walmart, but now, if a game has a deep discount on a rival site, Amazon will remove the option to buy the item.
>preordering instead of watching gameplay on twitch first
