What you PC elitist always forget when discussing consoles is that what gaming system is prefer is entirely subjective, I chose consoles because they are cheap and easy to use. You don't need to know computer components just to run a game - game developers does the optimization for you, precision aim with a mouth is nice but isn't a deal breaker for me, backwards compatibility is nice but I still have my PS3 and PS2 so it's whatever.

Can you on the other hand explain to me the appeal of PC gaming? Why waste time on an anti hobby that is vidya on shit that isn't exclusively vidya? Building pcs isn't hard, any moron can do it, so its not a challenging or satisfying type of thing to do. Building PC appropriately to run the games sometimes required some knowledge about PC components and that hurdle is really limited and stupidly ignorable for PC elitists but normie is not.

In 6 years I only changed 2 parts, ram and gpu, I can still play every game at 1080p medium/high so don't spread misinformation, if you don't believe me go look up some i7 2600 benchmark that's my cpu, it's 6 years old and can still play every modern game at 60 fps provided you have a good gpu, which I do since it's one of the 2 things I upgraded.

Meanwhile I can play every single old game in excistenc with emulators while you need to waste more money on old and hard to find consoles, not to mention having to pay 60€ a year just to be able to use your own internet and in the end you'll be paying a lot more than I did.

You can connect to the internet and go online with the console, you just can't play multiplayer. Paying for membership pays off in the long run because you get your money's worth tenfold by the end of the year in (((free))) games. This month, Bayonetta, Red Faction, and two shovelware titles are available on Xbox. Good games I wouldn't have bothered playing otherwise if I didn't have membership.

That's not the case with headphones this gen. The controllers have 3.5mm that allow any headphone usage. I don't know about PS4, but Xbone is getting an update that expands on USB device support which will open up the doors for dozens of USB devices that didn't previously work. If you're talking about racing wheels and fight sticks, you are right, at least until that update comes around in November.

Consoles offer convenience. There are generally good exclusives on consoles. Not everyone has the capacity to build a pc especially if there are problems after assembly. Installing the OS can be a hassle. You also have the issue of hackers on PC. Yes hackers do exist in most online PC games. I played Battlefield 1 on PC and I experienced hackers in almost every game. In most countries consoles are a lot cheaper than building your own PC. PC parts can be expensive.
