When it stopped? I've been here since 2007 and people back then made halo nostalgia threads about how good CE was and how bad halo 2 ruined the franchise. And the threads were rarely derailed by people making fun of "my first fps"

I dont remember that, the only drama I remember before MW2 release was the lack of dedicated servers on PC, and after release I remember how the $15 DLC was hated by everyone despite being cheaper compared to Halo 3 DLCs, 3 new maps and 2 reskined ones on MW2 sucked compared to the 4 multiplayer maps and 1 zombie map Treyarch released for $10 on WaW
