Is XCOM 2 really hard on the regular difficulty or am I just shit?

It's just very hard for the first few missions, where losing soldiers is really bad but it gets progressively easier
Pray to RNGsus or else you will never beat it.

kill yourself frogfucker
The beginning is by far the hardest part, once you get past that hump it becomes much easier.

You're really shit.
Protip: use fucking flashbangs to control enemies and grenades to expose them you dum dum

XCOM in general is a difficult game. I really wanted to get into it, but God damn did it piss me off to much.
Did someone rape hoy when you were 7?

XCOM is just rng honestly. Besides that this >>386412424

>xcom is just rng
Spoken like a true shitter whose tactical mastery ended at taking potshots at enemies in cover.
There's nothing RNG in grenades, abilities like combat protocol, shotgun at close range, etc.
Both nu-XCOMs are about doing everything possible to get guaranteed damage either from consumables or 100% shots.

It really, really isnt unless you're going top 2 difficulties with ironman.
XCOM is fair and even cheats for the player at lesser difficulties, the only thing that makes XCOM hard is that it punishes playing like shit, and doing badly is a snowball effect that affects everything.

Played XCOM EW on impossible and it took me over like 10 different playthrough and 150 hours to finally beat. It's the first game I've ever needed a guide for game and I saved scummed like hell.
Call me a shitter, I know I am, but I still feel like these games were consciously made to be extremely difficult. After 1000 hours In each game I can beat a good portions of encounters without any casualties but I'm still not confident enough in my abilities to do an ironman run.
