You could stunlock all 4 people on the other team with the air whip slash and maintain it until they died. I always have the impression /v/ doesn't know shit about what they talk except for a few people on each thread. Gunz doesn't seem to be the exception either.
First k-style isn't butterfly alone it's the combination of many other bugs used to improve movement and shorten animations like hh, sl, rs

Second anyone that says they easily killed kstylers by spraying at them, never really played against a truly good opponent it seems, knowing how to bf doesn't make you a kstyler and rushing into a guy with a machine gun just makes you inexperienced or dumb
Third, gunz 1v1 on gladiator mostly is one of the most in depth ways to play the game, its were the skill truly shined, the amount of complexity into swordplay is just amazing and the fast pace of it makes it fun and entertaining.

Given the learning curve is literal hell, those who willingly go through it never really forget how to play, and it's highly rewarding when easily overcoming less experienced players or someone at your level

In close quarters (most pro's played attack and defend mansion) you needed to use damage from your sword and also get supercharges to stun them. You also need to have your sword out at all times to block and look up to prevent stuns/ incoming shots

The real issue is that automatic fire in Gunz was insanely strong. You could do insane damage crazy fast to any kstyler that was at range. Really, if the hitboxes were actually good then kstylers would have gotten BTFO by at range in most situations. I can't even remember the amount of times I would land like 10 heavy revolver rounds on someone only for them to lose less then half their total health. Shit was dumb.

You need to hit someone on their screen for damage to register, and there's ping delay between. You need to lead your shots with 0.5 seconds depending on your ping to other player.
