Matthewmatosis is my favourite, but he mostly reviews shit I don't really care about. He's also really fucking slow, to the point where I follow fucking Diet Matthewmatosis more closely since I know I can expect something every few weeks. It's a shame too, since his MGS and Zelda series, as well as the Portal 2 and Wonderful 101 videos are pretty fucking good.

They get a bit lengthy later on, but that's because they analyze the game's development, then the content, and compare it to previous entries, and in the case of Downpour they analyze it as a game on its own, and then compare it to previous entries, and in their HD Collection review they split it into two parts, one to analyze the collection and the other to analyze the voice acting and people behind it, since there was a scandal behind the voice acting of the SH2 and 3.

The enviromental story telling of SS2 in comparrison to GH is spread so thin it can't compare. I am not saying GH is the better game or even a good game, it is not. I am saying A part of it is executed so good no other game (I know) can compare to that part in comparison. Gone home ends with you having learned about of punch of people you do not give a shit about it, and so at the end of the story falls flat. But getting there, learning about them was the voyeuristic fun of it. Intruding into their house and see it has been lived in, really lived in is something the game did better then any other.

Just let me ask you this, in any game, how long do you have to look at the screen, your player character standing still, and see that this scene is not real?
