You spawn with a handful of extra bullets and maybe some bandages and a grenade, from there you're on your own, trying to scavenge what you can and survive the chaos of ~100 equally-functioning active units on the field at once, trying all the while to use your brief life to inch your team toward your objective before an artillery shell lands on you and you have to respawn. And you WILL have to respawn. Lots.

Okay but the main and side missions were, and usually my biggest complaint against a game are a short main mission and lack of quality side missions.

It's a solid length, and truthfully, the other stuff is just for shits and giggles and it's a bit of a throwaway, but it's still a pretty meaty experience.

At least rockstar listens somewhat to feedback, which is more than most devs can say. Now, when the game first launched, fuck yes, 10 mil would have taken 600 hours... but i have a yacht, and i'm maybe around 200 total since launch, and i never had to scrimp and save for it i just played for fun.

Now, my fucking buzzard helicopter at launch, when every death cost you 500 bucks, and missions paid a grand instead of like 10-20 grand? That I saved and scrimped for. That took 3 months of avoiding major purchases while my friends were buying cars and shit. Now i could get one in three days of casual play.
