hello thread posters, my isometric fangame is coming along

tilemap system is done!

that means I am taking submissions. if anyone wants to be a part of this, just download my example tileset and make whatever you want.

my pic is an example of what they will look like in-game. it's randomized, but later on there will be maps that will make for much more interesting scenery.


requirements are:

- whatever you make shouldn't obstruct the black borders. it can go over the top within reason as long as it stays within the tile's top border.

- tileset should have a continuous theme, like city or dungeon or etc.

- good idea to maintain liquid types ( water, lava, etc) so I can make as many combinations as possible (ie. hot vs cold) within a tileset. but feel free to change around if your idea needs something else; if it's good I might even expand it to the entire tileset.

- there are 2 tiles for scenery (flower & rock), they can be whatever you want. if you need more I can expand to 4 but I would prefer to have most scenery as objects, which I'm still working on.

Hello, darlings.
Posting here to let you know that Im taking suggestions for the theme of the next pageant.
Last pageant was male vermin only where BingBing64 won over dastardly donut.
I asked for suggestions yesterday but it was very early so only got King and Queen, and a Skeleton pageant as ideas.
Please suggest a couple of themes and Ill put together a strawpoll to settle on one.

Im also taking ideas on how to possibly run pageants through a different method. Bear in mind that theyre basically still popularity contests but Im open to anything.

Hey TH, to answer your question I missed from the last thread, I'm totally cool with alternating weekly. I know having that 1 week break really would make all the difference so we don't get fatigued from it all.

And if you wanted to work together, perhaps it would be fun to do a gimmick tourney where each of us runs half the bracket in our respective engines, and then the finalists of each one face off in both of our engines for a best 2-out-of-3 or however many rounds it takes to determine the winner. That way we could have a 64 Vermin tourney without anybody breaking their backs.

Also you're a madman for actually programming Wonderband and delivering the fights on time. 10/10. I'd have just given them a buffed version of the middle form's ability and called it a day.
