Speaking of DQ, what's the opinino of DQ9? I think it tried to be nextgen but failed miserably on that front because it's on the DS. Overall OK.

everythings so slow and tedious, its one of the games that couldve used a skip animations/turbo function
the leveling system for job class changes sucks because anyone left behind is going to stay behind even further

Not my favourite dragon quest but it's very comfy if you're looking for a grind game. The main story doesn't really require any grinding but if you care about grottos you're going to have to grind quite a lot.

Made the mistake of playing it right after 5 and it's just hopelessly boring in comparison
