What went wrong with the Switch?

for a chinese tablet it's selling pretty well

Nothing really went wrong. It's a jack of all trades and that's what it's advertised as. If anything it doesn't have enough third party support, and even then it just got a sequel to a game that was exclusive to Sony until now.
