Imagine a big evil corporation that operates on absorbing smaller companies. Once acquired they force the workers to obey their new draconian rules and destroy any who dare question them. They proceed to pump out horrible products at exorbitant prices, while also trying every possible way to make more profit with acts that should be criminal. Then if your product doesn't make enough profit they absolutely destroy your branch and start over.
Then if that wasn't bad enough, there is no real way to stop them and get the truth of their evil crimes out because they also bought out the media.
It's the evilest possible company and the worst part is it's not fictional.

That's more movie-Umbrella's thing. The vidya-Umbrella went bust after Raccoon City burned in nuclear fire and Albert Wesker anonymously testified to the Supreme Court about their illegal dealings. The new Umbrella that first showed up in Umbrella Corps and returned in RE7 with Chris Redfield in their employ seems to be a new organization using the old Umbrella's name and iconography to act as like a privatized BSAA or something.

Well, there's the Helghan Corporation from the Killzone games, which started out as a massive industrial conglomerate that eventually became the controlling interest in the Alpha Centauri system. Upon doing this, they decided it would be a good idea to put Earth's balls in a vise, and were surprised to find Earth reacted rather poorly to this. After they got their asses kicked to a dirtbag planet, they decided to declare themselves a separate species and brush up on their "Mein Kampf."

There's also Armacham Technology Corporation from F.E.A.R. In the grand scheme of things it's not that bad; most of the time it's probably like working for Lockheed-Martin. Of course, there's always the risk of getting caught in a mass office shooting instigated by the company's enslaved psychic guinea pig and his battalion of heavily armed meat puppets, or being assigned to work in the sketchy Detroit-esque part of town that's been abandoned because a dead teenage girl has been beaming pure hatred into the brains of everyone in the area for the past two decades. Dental's pretty good, tho.
