This is such a god damned good game.
yeah it's real decent. shame people don't know about it
banks is my wife

it's alright but gets stale quick unless you're severely autistic
Still can't beat the game on experienced mode. It keeps fucking me over with shitty layouts on the final mission.
>>386379778
Too bad they made it another procedurally-generated trash, it would've been much better if it was a fleshed-out narrative. Stealth gameplay is already restrictive as it is, there's only so much of the other game mechanics can offer before it gets monotonous.
>>386380136
it's your autism that prevents you from appreciating the really excellent game mechanics they came up with. it's makes you do a lot of complicated decision-making
>>386380729
there's nothing wrong with generating procedurally
>>386381869
Hey for the longest time how the fuck do I get more ammo?
>>386383217
charge packs are the only way nigga. apparently simple handgun ammo is ultra rare and expensive in sci fi teleporter land and you for some reason can't use the guns or ammo any of the guards or robots or turrets kill you with :^)
it's a little silly honestly, just like the flurry gun only being active for 1 turn, so you line up your team and get them to all shoot 1 guard then pass the gun on
SJW trash, I'm afraid

It actually is. I was surprised by how well the X-Com styled setup worked in a stealth setting.
>guard gets +1 armor every time he's alerted or KO'd
whose idea was this
>>386385572
>no savescummy shit like in all stealth games
>balancing stealth vs getting shit done quick can be challenging
>no artificial 'remain undetected all mission for magic bonus points' shit, or 'hard mode = you just fail as soon as you get spotted and everyone can see really far'
they did good
>>386385635
It wouldn't be a challenge if you'd just KO'd everyone in sight and walked through the levels right?
I love how the level design keeps you on your tippy toes, you can't just jerk around, you gotta keep moving forward and take as much shit as you can. Alert system makes it so much more interesting. So each decisive movement counts
>>386386224
it's the level design and dealing with the unknown layout that nearly fucked me over there actually, having to go back and forth trying to explore it in a sensible manner, only to find I'm at the locker, but none of the guards have dropped me a key yet. while I was sorting it out, I got a 4 armour guard in my character's face with 2 more guards behind him. it's ok though, decker has that silly augment that makes him go fast when he cloaks, so he just sprinted half way accross the level, chucked a flash grenade and everything was ok. feels great coming this close to permadeath every mission without savescum cheese making everything pointless and terrible

>all guards +1 armor permanently
I played it for awhile but it does start to get samey. Also sometimes the RNG would just drop a totally assrapey map on you.
i hated how rare bullets were, though. you're practically forced to play non-lethal because only the Corporations have ammo for their guns.
>>386387567
killing guards isn't a fashion choice like in deus ex mate
>mfw alert level 6 and still havent reached the exit
>>386387567
have you tried not being seen in the first place nigga?
just pickpocket idiots
>Shock Trap III
>EMP Pack III
I remember playing this game during its early access. It gets boring after awhile. Still a good game though.
Only annoying thing was the random room placements. Get some really ugly layouts that cause you to wait too long causing the daemons to tick up.
>can't leave before turn 20
>mfw I'm back on the teleport pad with the mission item on turn 6
Is Banks + Internationale the easiest starting combination?
>>386390617
thats who i always use to win
>>386390617
dr xu is real good
>mfw holocircuit overloaders
>>386379778
Yeah, the game is pretty good and it took me a few tries and restarts to finish the game even on beginner.
The completely randomized levels really burnt me out on it quick. Developers need to realize already that it ironically makes them all feel the same.
