It's less that the artifact system is just a slightly more interesting version of Relic Weapons from FFXIV and more the fact that they deleted their entire history of world building for a quick out in design.

I didn't mind most classes stuff, but some of them were terrible choices.

>give one of the most powerful artifacts ever created, responsible for the creation of an entire race to a fat chicken
>warlocks just get a jumble of random shit
>rogues get dog teeth, some rusty shit left behind by a mutie
>take away your talents and abilitys and just roll them into the weapon

Piss off blizz. I used to love your game above all else. It was so magic and amazing and full of wonder and amazingly difficult rewarding content. Now it's press button, receive group. Press button receive awesome. So sad.

I think Freedom Unite is the only one you can. It's good, don't get me wrong, but the hitboxes are absolute shit tier in that game and stretch further out than they reasonably should, making it more based on bullshit difficulty. Actually, I think you might be able to emulate Tri on Dolphin, not sure. I don't know too much about emulating, as I've always just bought the games.
If you really want to wait half a year, you could get World.

p3rd is the best mh for new people cause you can emulate it and its really easy compared to most other mhs.
you can also try FU but its alot less polished and harder on newcommers and in general. All the other psp games are pretty much obsolete like mhf2. /mhg/ has info on emulating them.
