Like its with the red vs. green cav. Depending on the game, one of them is better than the other. I mean she's essentially Guy with less HP, but that's easily fixed with a Seraph Robe. However, with being a mandatory deployment "Game over if she dies" character it's probably better to use her to some advantage and grow her so she's not just a constant liability. doing her 10 chapters on Hard drops the forced tutorial and you can easily farm 15+ levels out of her.

unequip her sword (or eqiup her bow if promoted) and stand on dodge 2-3 terrain to avoid the abundance of lances in the game, with her speed and skill she can function as a surprisingly great dodgetank.

the Mani Katti is also easily the best lord weapon in Blazing sword, exploiting it's combat weaknesses and crit potential nets her some good killing blows. I'm not going to pretend she doesn't need support but again, since you have to use her, you may as well.

Git gud with multitasking within the same turn, mobilizing your units, calculating battle outcomes before hand, especially for enemy phase, and making good squads of your units (as in making groups of your units that can handle the situations ahead well.) These are the essentials. As for other minor but still important and useful things.
-Pairing up units, moving the pair and then separating them maximizes distance covered.
