What's the best controller for playing 2d platformers on the PC?
I heard the Playstation controllers and USB SNES controllers are arguably the best but I'm not sure.
Genuinely, ironically, this. That fucking micro switched d-pad feels wonderful, it's got a great weight, and you can limit the travel of the shoulder buttons for games that don't use analog functionality
The downside is it's expensive as fuck

I don't like the way the d-pad is positioned though.
Is it awkward to use?

Logitech 310 is all you need
Don't need to spend an extra hundred on a controller that is functionally the same. I remember when /v/ laughed at LEET gaming merchandise.
been thinking of getting this for 2d platforming, how good is it?

incredible if you get one with a functional d pad

I just use any USB gamepad that's available at walmart or target, they just work.

The one that feels best to you. Or are you... Uninitiated in console controllers?
