Baldurs gate 2 lets you pick the portrait of your other party members as your own.
I thought the portrait of the bald man with the hamster looked cool so I chose that one for my character.
After spending a good time creating my character the game started and there were TWO MINSCS and I got super mad and uninstalled the game.

After loving DaS, DaS3, and Bloodborne, I dropped DaS2 two hours in after losing patience with the HP drop after death, horrendously unfun enemy placement, and severe lack of characters with interesting movesets

The life gems weren't as bad as I was expecting and neither was Adaptability as a stat, and I'm sure that I could stick to it and end up enjoying what the game has to offer, but I have absolutely no drive to do so. The game completely drained me of motivation to push through

All the fluff missions leading up to Great Jaggi put me off it, and for a "boss" every MH thread calls a casual filter he wasn't hard. Those moves are game breaking in some circumstances and new players would rely on them as a crutch if they were bound to single buttons. When I first started playing Dark Souls, I didn't realize just how precise you had to be in your timing for those moves, so I learned to play without them. It was only later that I realized just how precise you have to be, and I began trying to use them in combat
The input method is an analogue way to make the moves intentionally unreliable. Even when you're good, trying to break your opponent's guard with a kick is always a gamble. I'd say that's a good thing

I like ff12 but yeah that line felt way out of place. The entire game all 6 of the characters are only traveling together because of their own interests. They rarely all talk when on screen together. Usually only 2 or 3 say something while the others stand around. They don't have much dynamic as a group. Afterwards during the epilogue of the game you find out they rarely even talk to each other anymore.
If they were buddy buddy at the beginning or developed that way through the game then it would be fine but that line came out of left field.

I dropped MGSV the second I found out there was base building fueled by resource gathering. I literally hate base building in any game. The only RTS I've ever played in DOW 2 because it didn't have base building. I don't like bases, homes, HQs, etc. The only game that ever made me feel like I was having fun with the "base building" was Skies of Arcadia if you count that. Played Fallout 2 for about an hour, got chased into the outback by 2 jeeps from an outpost I'd cleared out 8 seconds ago because I'd turned my back on it, causing everyone to respawn. Tried to outrun them until they shot out my engine. Had a shootout with them with resulted in both of their jeeps exploding, turned around to fix my engine, just in time to see my own jeep burst into flames and explode.
