The PS4 has more games this year that I want, so I got one of those instead. I ended up getting Zelda on WiiU and it was incredible

The only announced game that looks interesting is Xenoblade 2 and the rest is either playable on pc or garbage. I planned to get one for Monster Hunter and Xenoblade 2 but since pc gets a real MH and Switch only 3DS port I guess I'll skip the Switch or get one after Nintendo releases their next console.

I have one. Currently playing Fate Extella. Wasn't expecting much, but I'm still underwhelmed by it.

I do and love it right now, however I do not recommend it right now.

I have MK8 (good but not perfect) and Splatoon 2 right now. I was considering Arms big decided against it as its online focused. I will also sell Splatoon 2 when the online fee comes in.

Wait a year and there will be half a dozen great singleplayer games on a really good console.

Literally every game I want to play on it is on Wii U too. I'm hoping by the time they release some actual exclusives to the system I want to play, they'll have a new hardware revision that doesn't bend from heat or scratch the screen just by taking it in and out of the dock.

Zelda's nice but it doesnt justify it.

Arms is a content-dry toy-fighter with a gimmick.

MK8 is just fucking Mario Kart. Again. Fun but I had more imvolved interest in Miniclip games.

Splat2 is just Splat1 again and I didnt like Kiddy shooter with a twist anyways.

Literally waiting for the new SMT and Xeno2 hopimg they will justify this paperweight.

On the plus side the tech is pretty cool and the console feels premium.

You are highly oversimplifying these games and what they are meant to do. You named singple player shooting/adventure games. Their power is in the content, not the core mechanics, which HAVE evolved in most of them. ME3 does not play like ME1 for better or worse.

You and I both know thats miniscule secondary content to the main mest of the game. Cmon man, u can be biased all you want but lets face the facts.

Because that's fine with me, just confirms what people already said.

BTW AC is also a series that evolved over time and brings unique content. AC1, AC2 and AC4, AC5 are miles apart in just about everything but the core concept. It's issue is not in being the same, its in being too numerous and doing fuck all anything good with its content.
