Which fighting game has the largest online player base? Is it

Right now the largest is Injustice 2. Then comes Tekken 7 but that's only because the game's only a couple of months old, it's gonna die soon enough. Then comes SFV.

KOF and GG even though are the best 2D fighters out right now they are both dead... Especially KOF with less than 100 players online on a daily basis. IDK shit about Smash but when it comes to tournaments Smash is literally the biggest game with the most fans and hype. Fucking hate Smash tho.

People hate Street Fighter 5, but if you want to get into a fighting game with an active community, I would play SF5

No one has ever said or insinuated that GG has a large online playerbase.
Most of the people playing are doing so in private lobbies and ranked is the only way to get random opponents. There's no casual matchmaking in it.

You can find a match pretty fast but the huge majority of th playebase drops th game instantly.

Do you guys play on fightcade?

I still play Street Fighter Alpha 2 everyday in it, and a bit of KOF2k2. Don't really love SFIII 3rd Strike tought. Also, altought I enjoy Xmen vs SF, it is hard to find people to play with.

I haven't particularly paid much attention to it, but I think Melee netplay may be stronger than some of the games on that list. Probably not more than Street Fighter though.

I still find rooms daily for MKX on PC, the north american rooms are always there, the Brasil rooms I make get 10~20 people in under 30 minutes (though usually half of them are from the rest of south america)

On PC it's Tekken 7, it has maintained a larger playerbase on a day-to-day basis than Street Fighter 5 for a good two months now, I have no idea why people continue to insist that it's "dead". Furthermore a game is only dead if people stop playing it entirely. Nigga if I can play Vampire Savior pretty much whenever I want then you can play some damn Tekken.

SFV, Tekken, Injustice 2, Pokken, and if you count it as a fighting game, smash 4 are still all active online.

I don't play enough of anime fighters to comment on any of them.
