Unironically this. At least Ubisoft has some decent smaller games under its belt, like R6 Siege and the stupid Rabbids game. EA goes out of their way to ruin their companies from the inside, even throwing their biggest franchises like Mass Effect in the flames because it means they can save a few bucks to allocate towards an ungodly marketing budget. Konami is the closest equivalent in terms of outright evil, but at least they're starting to fuck off from video games. EA acquires innocent companies, strongarms them into including cancerous scams like microtransactions, and then cans them when their games don't sell a gorillion units and invent a marketable new universe. Just look at Dead Space. I don't even give a shit about the series but it should've just died gracefully instead of being dragged through the mud.
