Samurai Musashi was a fun one to rent from Blockbuster

7 Blades, guy route first because it's only fun as a beat-em-up. Woman route after because you'll want the full story after seeing the credits once

Nah. FreeHDBoot. If you have a fat PS2, you can just plop in an IDE hard drive with the FreeMCBoot files and it'll work.

Don't bother with it. It's a fucking terrible game. The voiceacting is hilarious and the translation is very literal but the game itself is awful.

Digital Devil Saga if you fancy something that plays like grimdark FFX (good though)

Radiata Stories if you like loadsa characters and don't mind the downtime attached to recruiting them, side effect of having a day/night system with NPC schedules

Ephemeral Fantasia if you just want something completely off the wall. Might give you a bad impression but stick with it for a few hours, you'll be surprised
