SPOILER WARNINGIt pulls a Bravely Default where you go through a bunch of recycled shit. You very slowly gather up all your party members again and all the better ones are at the end so you're stuck using shit characters like Row. Sena cuts her hair and looks ugky and Veronica dies.There basically aren't any new areas, you're just going through the same ones again. It sucks because it would've been one of my favorite games ever if it just stopped halfway through, even though it'd be a little short. At the very end of the games, you go back in time and prevent the second half from happening, which is what should've happened in the first place.
RIP DQXI, the game literally retcons itself making anything you do pointless. Why do people think this format of padding a game is acceptable?

People pretty much jumped on BD like hungry hyenas, don't blame SE when it's the consumer being a dumb as fuck.
BD was boring and uninspiring, I said it back when the game was released but people were too busy eating shit because the 3DS finally had a JRPG.
