It isn't merely Japan vs the west. It's simply "exclusives vs *also on PC" games. PC doesn't have any good games because it is LITERALLY the platform of the lowest common denominator, it is physically impossible for any PC game to be good. That's why Japanese games are typically seen as good games, because they are typically never made for PC. At least, not until recently.
