Lots of talent, but I honestly don't really find them making games I like all that much anymore, with a few exceptions. I know that Sony and Level 5's relationship got a bit strained over WKC2 underperforming, but since Inafune works for Level 5 now, is there a chance of a Soul Sacrifice sequel actually going ahead?

Play them, they're good. The original is a PS2 on PS4 title that often goes for like, $5 and Blood Curse isn't the kind of game that's gonna break your bank. The sequel never got a US release, but PAL copies aren't hard to find for a decent price. Or just emulate 1 and 2 if you're not fussy.

Though bear in mind a return to horror for him isn't all that likely. He gave an interview to Polygon a few years ago where he talked about the economics of making traditional horror games now and how it's quite difficult.

Also, Toyama appeared on one of those Toco Toco tourism guide videos last year. Worth a watch if you have ten minutes, he comes across as a pretty interesting guy.

Japan Studio is a huge studio comprising of about 400-500 employees all in different sub teams. They're working on about 6 or 7 different games at any one time.

Yep. They used to be Sony's go-to guys for commissioning JRPGs in the PS2 through to the mid-PS3 era, but apparently their relationship soured quite a bit after Sony sunk a lot of money into White Knight Chronicles 2, which underperformed quite dramatically. Supposedly that game not selling is the reason Sony don't bother funding their own console JRPGs anymore.

entirely dependent on your tv
if your tv has input lag the game will be difficult
like any rhythm game, but these are just much more unforgiving
parappa plays exactly like it did on ps1, patapon plays like a psp game

I plat'd parappa easily and I'm working on patapon
going through the settings on your tv will help significantly, turn off any post processing and make sure it's just scan or whatever your tv calls it
the info to reduce the lag of your tv model is easy to find online
