It's a terrible shooter, it's an awful racing game, the vehicles control poorly, the open world is boring and empty, the music is terrible, the jokes aren't funny, the character customization is weak, the art style is bad, the final boss is a QTE, the side missions are insipid and used on several occasions to pad out the main story, the plot is stupid and it doesn't even have basic elements which have been standard in GTA style games since GTA III (a day/night cycle for example)

does Agents of Mayhem seriously not have character customization? that's one of the few things that was actually good in saints row 3 and 4 (even if it wasn't as good as saints row 2 unless you bought all 500 dlc packs). It's always about the city's atmosphere, the varied locales, the darker missions, the characters, the radio stations, the oidd little features (throwing fire-hydrants at people after ripping them out of the ground), the harder side-missions, or the things they took out of the game to make SR3
