FFXV is fantastic and the multiplayer so far is great with a lot of additions and modifications, it also addresses and fixes the primary complaint about the combat in that you could spam items, you can't use items at all in this and instead have to use cure magic which cost half your MP so you can't spam it, thus requiring you to maximize your damage output with combos, directional inputs and warpstrikes, but you also have to closely manage MP now because the new magic system uses half your MP per cast, same as warpstrikes so it's more balanced now. And it makes things like taking cover more useful now, warppoints don't fully fill up MP either, instead they only fill up 5-10 MP points

Yes they are good, Ep Gladio has good bosses with Gilgamesh and Cor, good music and a neat although lineae dungeon.

Ep Prompto is more meaty in terms of content with more narrative focus, a snowy open area you can mess around in with Aranea and also nice bosses with Barbarus and Aranea, also has fantastic music. They also have really improved cutscenes from the average ones in the main game.

Fun fact, no one is playing the beta. I downloaded it. Spent forever waiting for people to join and ended up rolling with NPC's. You choose a mission and when you finish it you get loot and exp and then a follow up mission. Nah, Type-0 was kinda messy and jank, but it had some solid ideas.

The whole 4 nations things was cool, turning L'cie from chosen heroes to near-emotionless human nukes was cool, the magic hogwarts thing was cool, the setting in general was interesting. The whole cutscenes being history channel documentaries with dates, locations, and bodycount was super cool as well. There's some problems, namely the dragon nation being underplayed and the whole apocalypse thing coming so abruptly.

everyone in Class-0 save for Rem and Machina was a good enough character to. shame all of them but Ace got the short stick. And the actual extra cutscenes for each individual party member is hidden in NG+. The combat was fine too, for a handheld.

XV was shit, but it wasn't solely because of Tabata. It wasn't because of Nomura either. It's because of Square Enix's board being incompetent fucks.
