Owned it back in 2001-ish. Loved the disc swap gimmick. I remember putting in Nirvana disc and getting a Swimmer. Hoping for a gun based monster.

Shit yeah. Great game...when I was five. I looked it up on YT a few years back and forgot how on rails the whole thing was. Wonder if I could even get it running on modern PCs given it's probably Quicktime heavy.

I always trained rabbits and they always died after finishing A rank. Melon Seuzo on nearly every disc in the house.

Also we used to have Monster Rancher threads here pretty regularly many years ago. The series is quite old now though, so a lot of younger people on /v/ probably never experienced it.
