I remember renting nothing but Breath of Five IV for three months straight from Blockbuster.

hard to say. I really liked:

>Digital Devil Saga
>Dark Souls 1

can't think of more right now. but anything FF and SMT is pretty much the peak of JRPGs. they are also some of the oldest franchises from that genre.

WRPG is garbage btw. so much untapped potential and still barely if ever breaks the stereotypical "elf, human, orc, dwarf, D&D adventure" conventions.

not even Fallout or Wasteland can make a difference the same way JRPGs approach things.
