MOBAS aren't hard. Just stupid design choices which create artifical difficulty and some abilities where there is percentages involved to make the hero function (PA , Chaos Knight)

Engine errors from WC3 that are present in Dota 2 for no apparent reason except for: -

Fighting games are much easier than MOBAs, especially 2d ones. It really boils down to who has memorized the elaborate flowchart better and is able to pull out the correct move faster in one of the few dozen different situations there can happen in a matchup.

Well, i'd argue against you, but it would be hard for me to prove anything since i haven't played a RTS made on this side of 2010 and had hero units. I'd imagine they would be nearly as complex, but not as powerful as in mobas, because that would hurt the games design too much. The argument with diablo is retarded as because no sane person would claim that diablo is harder than RTS and therefor VERY unrelated to our discussion.

Just look at WC3 then. Every hero has only a few tools at their disposal and can use them only a couple of times in an average situation. This means that the decision making behind stunning a ghoul or the enemy hero is not really a decision at all.

League of Legends is basically forced to have less mechanics. If there were too many unique characters that can excel in some situations while the other ones can't, it would be unbalanced due to the fact that it's hard to acquire champions.
