The game always made me feel like everything you do was too little too late. As a child, first you can't save the Deku tree, and then you fail to stop ganondorf from entering the spirit realm. Once you're an adult you not only find out the future is fucked, but then you talk to Saria and she is surrounded by monsters in the forest temple to never be seen outside of the chamber of sages, Daruna heads to his death against volvagia, Ruto disappears mid temple, Shiek tells you Impa went to the shadow temple and never returned, and then finally you basically watched nabooro die before your eyes.

The bunny hood is always available so long as you sold all previous masks, but the running man doesn't appear until after the Water Temple so you can't sell it until then.
