Bioshock Infinite + Dlc's

Bought the Remastered collection. 1 and 2 are both on my top 10 and remain. Didn't care for Infinite until the remaster, the graphics were terrible on previous gen, and I think hoestly that is what held it back. That and it was shit easy. Played the remaster on 1999 mode and there was some redemption. It went from ok to good.

Really wish theyd do NG+ and survival mode on 2

As for burial at sea, the story was fantastic, but when they first came out for 10 a pop I felt jipped. Too short, even played in succession. I almost wish they put more thought into it and just made a Infinite sequel in Rapture.

I cant find a game that scratches my Bioshock itch and am hoping for BS3 soon.

The seond DLC is garbage stealth. Why they thought their gameplay would do well with stealth, I ahve no idea, but it's boring. Also 2nd DLC is a shitty ending to the series.

1st DLC is alright though.

I don't know how to feel about Burial at Sea.

I liked the start of it and how it brings things full circle in a sense, but I don't understand why Elizabeth felt that she had to sacrifice herself in the end, and why she decided to die for the sake of that version of Rapture in particular. Considering that there's theoretically countless more versions of the same city with similar problems.

I replayed the whole series recently, Infinite still sucks.
Story is a fucking mess and not only the time travel stuff is inconsistent, everything is fucked too.
Gameplay is bland at best.
Characters are either generic or completely unrealistic, looking at you Elizabeth. The only exception being the Lutece.
Graphics are nice from afar, look closely and you will notice many polygonal objects and ugly textures.

Though the DLC shows they were shepherding Elizabeth's morality to end up where they wanted for some reason.

There are audio diares that explain their motivations in the base game, they are actually trying to help you.

Still the best, the story fits almost perfectly with Bioshock 1 and expands the lore in an interesting way.
Gameplay is way better, more weapon upgrades, plasmid upgrades actually do something now instead of being only a flat damage increase and collecting ADAM with a little sister is great. I like the Big Sister too, fast as fuck and has a lot of attacks and you get to summon a friendly one in the last level too. The adition of a melee bash to interrupt charging enemies is great too.
Characters are great, best bro, best daughter, good antagonists.
Graphics are pretty much the same but now humans actually look like humans.
I would also like to add that the music is excellent.
I didnt like Minerva's Den that much, it's not that great once you know the twist but science black man is an ok guy.

I was disappointed to find out I actually found all their audio diaries when I finished the game. The stories in the series can be pretty rocky, but the voice acting is just so fucking good.

Bioshock 2 is the only AAA game that hit me emotionally. Okay, maybe that was because I was fucking 15 back in 2010, but I honestly still believe that it got the moral system right. I killed most of the little sisters for Adam because I didn't give a shit about being a monster, considering that Subject Delta was never anything but, but seeing Elinor imitating my actions and adopting my believe structure really fucked me up. I didn't want this.

Fuck all the dogpileing drones with no opinion of their own. Bioshock 2 does some excellent things with its story. Infinite is trash and the original wasn't that good either.

Genuinely hated it. I loved the first two games and Infinite was completely neutered gameplay wise in favour of its crappy story.
I was so excited that I even bought the season pass and I have never played the DLC.

I think Bioshock 2's weakness was that it felt like it was trying to do a lot of what made the first game interesting, but with less a less interesting cast.

The ending's great though. I really like how there's an ending where you can do terrible things but then choose to die in the end. As if Delta acknowledged that what he did was for Eleanor's sake, but couldn't live with the weight of the atrocities that his mission led him to.
