What do you guys think about Hotline's Miami Story and gameplay?

Love it, HM 1 and 2 are both great.

Story was trash. It didn't expand on the first story in any meaningful way.
Mechanically it was worse than 1 in every way.
It was also extremely buggy with clipping especially player and npc getting stuck in geometry.
i think story is actually pretty good and very interesting, especially if you passed both games
I hate that the aesthetic was taken and used on literally EVERYTHING now

I dont know why they went with that no-fun approach of filling levels with fat niggers. I found myself shooting blindly trying to kill off screen enemies much more often than hm1
dude
windows and big guys
lmao
>story
the game spends more time telling that the story doesn't matter than anything else. it's really far beyond the oldschool "we simply don't care" attitude like doom had, it's doing everything to make a statement how irrelevant it's story is.

great stuff. actually one of the very few games that manages to be addictive without cheap randomizing or skinnerbox mechanics, it's impressive really. First game is fun though for one time playthrough, second game is more fun when trying to be played for S rank.
Yeah, those fat guys and windows was a fucking mistake

>30 minutes of gameplay
WOW how fun

Took me a few hours each. Not sure what you're talking about.
2 was a clusterfuck, both gameplay and storywise.
Chapters all over the place, loosely linked.
Gameplay was crap, terrible stage design.
