Not really. It's a strategy game, the meat is learning factions and facing off against other players. Campaign is just a collection of boring "move a bunch of units from one end of the map to the other" or holding under siege attacks

Totally, the SP story for SC is quite simple, but it's the characters that made the story so enjoyable.

My favorites are the Zerg and Protoss campaigns, the terran one in SC does feel slightly disconnected as the conflict isn't as relevant to them.

BW is different in that it's a more creative story, and the villain of the story is more unique. Also a ton of great moments in those.

I said that the idea that RTS are ONLY for competitive esports shit is new.
The RTS genre in its height (meaning lots of RTS were being made, and selling) had both plenty of single player content and multiplayer content.

And though correlation doesn`t imply causation, as RTS focused itself in the online, it slowly lost relevance.
