Is this game even worth it as a f2p player? I started 2 days ago cause of all the threads on /v/ and got a few SSRs including ss4 gogeta, super gogeta and some ssj gohans and trunks`.
Then I saw videos on how to power up your units. You need not only the cards you like, you also need a fuck ton of duplicate of them to power them up properly.

Yeah there's a really big amount of stones to farm up when you start, it's only when you run out of F2P stones that you should worry. If you start now during the anniversary you can get a shit ton and some really solid units.

In all honesty, if you weren't aware of Broly's tankyness and don't have the units to power through Cell's regen, it sounds like you're a relatively new player. Boss Rush 2 is about as end-game as Global Dokkan gets, so you might need to revisit at a later point with stronger teams.

There are units that restrict Cell's regen but none of them are really worth putting in your Boss Rush team.

Black has a farmable Super in his own 20 stamina event via droppable TEQ Black cards. Open up the bottom right and top left path and get to farming his SA and boosting him with orbs.

Every dokkan event is half stamina atm so if you can't do them individually then Boss Rush is a no-no. Try them all out individually.

I'm getting really frustrated with Super difficulty. ZHard is winnable with luck on my side, but I can't actually touch ant of the Supers.

I was focusing more on team synergy than brute force just throwing my strongest units together.

Fasha turns purple spheres to red for my Buu to take advantage of, almost every round I have Battlefield Diva activated, Bulma can usually keep my health above 50% for 18 to take advantage of, the list goes on. There is more thought put into it than is probably even necessary.

I usually run this team and with another Broly friend. I get supers most of the time thanks to the Prepared for Battle and Fused Fighter links along with Black's passive

Fuck yes he is. In global he is second best leader for INT behind LR Gohan. He heals based on orbs once he is dokkan awakened. Pre-dokkan it is a percentage based on damage done. Buuhan is just all around a really good card.
