Mostly true, Japs can't write most of the time. But sometimes there's some good shit, like Soul Sacrifice for instance, even though it's inspired by the arthurian legend. Since I watched Code Geass, most anime are boring. Last one I genuinely enjoyed was One Punch Man, and not for the writing but the silliness of it.
