Came in to ask this. Considering that OP could play the exact same angle with Dark Souls I'd say the answer is yes, this is clearly a bait thread.

No i didnt mean to say that, what i meant to say is that i like to play rogue like rogue legacy, i just took it as an example of a rogue like game that i like

It's not like Rogue but Spelunky is a lot like Rogue Legacy. It's fun and the controls are great, but the RNG is really unfair. When Chasm is finally finished I'd recommend that.
