I had the same issue Anon, at least the Mementos Depths "puzzles" are piss easy and the obligatory god is easily cheesed with Ann's concentrated Blazing Hell/Ryuji's charged God Hand

I think P5 is a better overall game, but I think P4's mystery plot and the feeling that you're always moving towards solving it (even if you're really just going in circles every month), compared to P5 where they make no attempt to convince you that you're not just going in circles every month, makes P4 the more "compelling game".

I've seen a lot of people fall into >>386248357 category of "I just didn't care enough to finish it", and I think its largely because of the pacing and way the story is told.
