I'd say it is, but it really depends on your view towards the game.
The community is full of oldfags, but it's a pretty good community with a lot of great content to it.
Come in a couple of months they're releasing a mobile version which will bring in a huge swarm of newfags to pull tricks on.

It's got the best of both worlds really. It's a good idle game in that you can skill while working on something else or watching something, and in turn the skilling prepares you for more focused content such as Questing/PvP/or some of the boss monsters.

wildy is basically empty save for one third worlder who gets on the game specifically to camp people at the wildy agi course, meaning hard clue scrolls are easy peasy

you can get anything you want just by picking flax or mining pess, if that sounds negative to you (like it does to me), then you can just roll an ironman and play singleplayer runescape with the addition of global shitposting

it's probably the best private osrs server you're going to get. it's either put the 2-3 insufferable autists on ignore, or get fucked by some douche who plays the game with his wallet on a donation server.

Never played Runescape, or SWG for that matter. I was too focused on DAOC, T4C, UO and other things at the time. I regret not having tried it, but then I still have so many golden memories of the others.

A friend gave me a stack of pure essence and told me to go to some server and have it crafted into a different type of essence, and they would trade me all of my pure essence back and I would be able to sell the converted runes.
