Why does Tsukaimon have friendly fire as it's only move?

Replaying this game right now after all these years. I was told the first boss theme shows uo again as a domain boss theme if you get far enough. Trying to get that far, but it isn't looking good so far since I couldn't befriend WarGreymon.

Good luck mate, I recommend using fast forward on an emulator so that you don't get too bored levelling your Digimons. Also, don't forget to DNA digivole the shit out of your Digimons

Drop it. Other than early on, for in-game trades and certain main story quests. Capturing Rookies is a very bad idea due to the retarded way the level cap works.

It will reach its level cap at 13 and if you DNA two level 13's together the resulting digimon will only level up to level 15. Because the new cap is the higher levelled digimons current level + 1/5 of the lower leveled digimon's current level rounded down. Capture Champions as soon as you can, even if you want to use Tsukaimon you're better off DNA digivolving two champions to it so its level cap is high and it will inherit the champion's attack moves.

This fucking game. I asked my parents to return it twice because I thought it was bugged when the mons stopped leveling. Funcoland gave me a new copy both times.

You might know this one too, can Digimon in this game level up more than once per fight? As in you fight a champion that gives you 40 exp which should level up your level one Agumon about 3 times?
