Why can't I get myself to play persona 3 lads?

I got past the "tutorial" part and I'm now able to go to school normally and just do whatever, but its so damn boring.

4 and 5 I just binged hard and beat them pretty quickly, but I just can't get myself to play 3.

I like the P3's tutorial is really short relatively speaking, and it does have some charms of it's own like the characters which I think are the best in the series. Gameplay wise though, it's was a step in the right direction but like Symphony of the Night, laters games just drastically improved on what it setup.

My go-to party throughout the game was Ryuuji, Yuusuke and Makoto just because my autism won't let me spend more than a day exploring a palace and they can dish out damage without consuming sp.
Late game, and especially at the last boss I found myself replacing him with An just because Tarunda and her concentration nukes are so good.

Yusuke's better on Hard/Merciless, where the 1.6x multiplier on enemy damage makes buffing Agility worthwhile.
I ran a Ryuji/Yusuke/Makoto party as well, but to be honest Yusuke ended up as an item tosser towards the end, because Makoto's Frei spells had better damage output than Yusuke's weak-ass endgame physicals.
He and Morgana would be much better in major boss fights if you could crit and Baton Pass.

I really want a remake of persona 1 or 2
i'd prefer 2 since the story and characters are better in my opinion, but persona 1 has some interesting shit too, and also is unique. but a remake in the current engine with persona 2 would be so cool.

I played on hard, but still prefered the good old Tarunda/Mararukaja combo to buffing speed, especially when bosses won't be missing a lot.
The fact that he doesn't get Charge also hurts a lot.

I love Yusuke. I thought he was going to be a fedora-lord edgy character from the trailers, but he's just a socially awkward idiot and it's great.

I think it's just the small subtle things about him that are funny - like how he's really poor, which is pretty normal and relatable for a teenager
