Why does this surprise you? In fact, I'm surprised WB has stayed under the radar for so long as a shitty publisher. It was only briefly brought up when Arkham Knight PC port was garbage.

You faggots let this happen. Just go over to /vg/ and see people spend thousands on DBZ Dokkan and Fate GO. And that's just fucking mobage shit.
this is old news op, the steam page has had the cash shop red flag up for a long time.
say it with me kids:
>ninety nine dollars and a cash shop

It's nothing but a trap for impulsive idiots.
Even if these happen to be essential to the gameplay loop, having a reason to play the game more, is great. I still play SoM for no real goal.

One day I'll throw a rock or two through their windows, no bs.
I've found myself purchasing less and less games over the years and I think this is mainly why.
This perpetual ass-ramming is rather draining and I find myself just never bothering with the product.

Oh fuck off everyone knows what that bulshit means

You also get the Gold currency in-game through community challenges. That said, it's definitely a turn off for me. Just having the option of purchasing these things via the in-game cash shop already tells me that they'll design everything in a way that'll all but force people to use it. I don't trust publishers enough to take shit like this in good faith anymore.

Didn't Injustice 2 have a loot box system?
I know it's not technically single player, but still..
WHEN WILL THE LOOT BOX TREND ENDS????

>make shitty licensed movies
>make shitty licensed games
Warner Brothers is the fucking worst.

When retards stop buying them.
>>386215451
I dunno man, how long it took for DLC trend to end? Oh thats right

This surprises you?

>tfw don't want to buy DLC but don't want to play an incomplete version of the game
