Dank souls II

Not the best game in the series but for me at least the one with the most replayability, and definitely the one with the most content overall.

Still never beat that section. The rest of the DLC was all pretty fun mostly, but man, I think I got to 2cat like twice and both times I just had my shit pushed in before getting to do anything and I just said fuck it I'm not dealing with the horsecock anymore

This desu, it just feels like a couple of press on big gaming sites complained about it then it just snowballed and people tried to fit in by just saying what they read.

I played it before reading any reviews or reception and didn't know anyone complained about that part until way later long after I beat it. It just felt like a regular fortress dungeon, it didn't feel out of the ordinary or even like it was a big deal.

Maybe you were underleveled and missed all the research documents. The dungeon takes less than an hour and you can wreck enemies with the ring magic, you never have to stealth plus you have Holy for recovery and defense plus.alterna for super death.

And "people turned into daemons" happening before you got there is the entire point, because you discover all the daemons you had been killing were humans all along. What you just said is like saying the titans in attack on titan being humans is an offscreen plot point just because they got turned into titans before the series begins.

And the update makes it even quicker because the ring was buffed and it's only like 15 minutes before you get a sword then 10 minutes to get the rest of your weapons, plus you can play as Gladio and see how ravus died and see iedolas being daemonized so those complaints aren't even valid anymore
