Master Chief wears armor that, without the genetic modifications, would break every single bone in a human's body until they die, as what happened to some poor sap that tested it. He's a walking tank, albeit he can run at some impressive speeds.

Doom Slayer wears armor that was crafted by a demon and blessed by an angel or perhaps even some facet of God himself, and has consumed the souls of both innocent and foe alike countless times alongside the berserk packs/souls empowering him time and time again. What he lacks in raw durability compared to Master Chief, he makes up for in sheer mobility, firepower, and probably equals out in strength.

People should focus less on death battles between the two and more on how every alien and demon alike would be utterly fucked if the two existed concurrently, because Doom Slayer has no reason to screw over humanity in his anti-demon crusades and Master Chief only knocks your ass if you're in his way or a threat to everyone.

Bad phrasing on my part, but what I generally mean is that Chief survived landing on Earth from an orbital fall, something even disposable SPARTAN-IIIs can manage actually, and yet while he can flip vehicles in gameplay, it's not reflected so readily in story and the same vehicle-flipping strength doesn't carry over to the rest of the gameplay functionality. The sheer amount of physical strength required to flip a Scorpion should be popping off heads with a fist to the face, which makes me think vehicle flipping is more of a gameplay aid than actual canonical physical strength.

Or at least not canonical in that it wouldn't be so easy for the Chief, but then I only read Fall of Reach a decade ago so what do I know?

Master chief kills shitty alien grunts, doom guy demolishes hellspawn the size of buses consistently.

When you think about it, Doomguy's pretty much a demigod at this point. He's existed for god knows how many centuries, maybe even millenia, in his neverending war against Hell to the point that his fight's carried him across dimensions apparently. For what he lacks in over-the-top physical capabilities compared to Chief, he makes up for in essentially being the deadliest possible combatant in both the genre and the planet.

I love both, but Doomguy/slayer whatever you want to call him.

Both have amazing feats but since the most recent DOOM it has been confirmed that Doomguy/slayer gets stronger with every demon he kills. The Seraphim gave him an ability that makes him stronger the more destruction and death he causes to demons, which he has been battling for seemingly thousands of years.
