Hi /v/, ck/ here
What kind of ethnic food would you like to see more in vidya?
Pic related, its an egg of a duck or chicken in around 14-21 days after it was laid.
People will then boil and eat it. I personally love the crunchiness of its beak.
Why not just wait till it's fully grown and it eat it then?

Balut is only good if the bird/duck isn't fully formed yet. Once it gets a beak/fur I'm out.

I'm typically willing to try anything. I would try this out if there was a place around me that sold it but I don't know of any place like that here.
What does it taste like?
generally speaking I want my vidya cooking to either a: comfy ass fantasy stuff, like a huge griffon drumstick roasted over a fire with cool looking vegetables and herbs
or b: a realistic cooking simulator that generally focuses on classical European cuisines, bc thats what I was trained in.
I love balut, and many other ethnic foods, but I don't really have any desire to see more of them in vidya.
