What does the bloody yinyang symbol mean on the command options?

What does going into stealth do? Am I supposed to attack the next turn after stealth?

What does the VIT meter do? Is it like when I'm supposed to sleep or something? I understand the HP meter and the MAGIC meter but that one I dont really get

It's annoying me that steam overlay doesn't work and I can't alt+tab out of the game for some reason, like it forces itself to always be on top. This is a problem because I like to sometimes chat with people while I play games, and the game looks worse when it's just windowed rather than having some black letterboxing
