I hate you dadWe don't even have a ps1
I enjoyed Survivor

No, I said I wanted to watch Evil Dead you fucking fag.
The game is decent with the GunCon, too bad the NTSC-U version removed compatibility.

Survivor was the best deconstruction of Umbrella Capcom ever mustered.
Adopting orphans to determine who had the genetic predisposition to produce the most chemicals they could extract beats immortality/ubermesch every day.

me too

It had a surprising amount of potential especially with the multiple paths through the game to the end goal.
However it was all in the wrong dosage and clearly a C-Team game.

My only memory of this game is shooting Tyrant for more than half an hour with the infinite peashooter at the end of the game.
I don't feel like replaying it ever.

is this the RE where you can't save progress?
I just played this game last week. I had finished it in the past but I went around again just because I couldn't remember much for it.
The controls sucked, but the visuals were actually pretty good. I kinda want to emulate this with PGXP and see how the environments look. It wasn't Silent Hill or anything but it looked passable for a PS1 game.
The controls are awful. Needless to say it doesn't have dual analog, but if you turn on analog (that is, single analog) the right stick functions as a menu so every fucking time you grab the right stick to turn like a normal person the menu comes up. Of course this could be fixed in emulation.
The gameplay consists of hammering your infinite pistol (of which I found 2, I think I heard there were more?) at the zombino's and using your strong limited weapons on everything else while stepping backward everytime they attack. And trying to make it so you don't get backed in a corner.
Also you can't save the game. Which I think is kind of shit for a 2 hour game.
2/5 its whatever.

I third that. I was like 11 or 12 at the time and I didn't know it then but I can understand why I liked the game back then now - the game is comfy as fuck. And you also get to laugh at the voice acting which to me is nostalgic as fuck because many games of the era had really cheesy voice acting.

Meh, I didn't have a problem with the controls because it was the same tank controls but in first person.
