after my first run of P5 i started to notice that the system isn't as far removed from reality as you'd think.

when you think of the effect of what you say and do with friends and relatives, it is kind of like a points meter. saying all the right things they want to hear, doing activities together, or thinking of each other does turn into a "friendship points" system much like P5, in the real world. I mean there's more nuance to real relationships (people can both love and hate a person sometimes which is a whole other emotional spectrum) but if you keep in touch with people or respond to their texts promptly, and make sure to hang out with each of your closest friends and relatives at least once a month, you can maintain pretty solid and drama-free connections to other people

tl;dr thinking of your social life as a schedule can help to keep all your relationships on good terms

I've already posted a million times about how I constantly re-enact reload animations from various games with my empty hands when no one is looking. Hell, sometimes even when they're looking, but I just keep my hands at my sides so that they just kinda look like I'm idly fidgeting or something.

So as a bonus, I also tend to match my camera movements in video games with the reload animation. For instance, if I'm reloading a Sten or some other weapon with a side-mounted magazine, I'll twitch the camera left when the mag is yanked out, twitch it right when a new one is slapped in place, and so on.

I just like reloads, OK?
