Why oh why would you want that as a PC controller?
It's more expensive than any other, it doesn't have analog triggers (which restricts which games you can play), and finally the D-pad is shit and has input errors.

Just go for DS4 (which has a good D-pad, and still has a gyro if you ever wanted Switch's Pro controller for that specific thing .. somehow) or 360/Xbone's controller if that's your preference. All of those are cheaper and have more functionality.

Changing batteries has never been an issue with controllers. It's not something anyone does unless they are forced to (like replacing AA batteries on a wireless 360 controller). Also Switch's Pro controller doesn't _really_ have a removable battery in the way you're implying. You need to unscrew the controller all over the place and remove 3 different plastic covers, and the battery is proprietary and not sold seperately.
So in practicality you won't change it ever. Not that anyone needs to because like I said, it's a non-issue.

It's a good controller. I haven't had issues with the dpad which is probably just good luck. Buttons feel great, shoulder buttons are fantastic, triggers are good but lack functionality. Sticks are about what you'd expect and battery life is superb. Too bad the price is jacked up by useless features.
