I mean I'm not surprised people on there are using that shit.
ROBLOX was fun as hell years back but it should've died back then.

Yea, after 2012, 2013 the community turned to shit. Now it's 99% cancerous squeakers. But there is that small loyal fan base from the good old days, which is why I stay.

The foruming community on Roblox is actually probably the best place on the website, good knows all the games are infested with 11 year olds bitching and begging for online currency. The forums on the other hand are about 50% made of actual mature original players.

>no more scamming people on Deadzone
>no more saving up Tix for the Snake Eyes hat
>no more being recruited by PVP groups and constantly watching your feed to get called into battle

>no more being accused of being a hacker by an entire server on Sword Fight (even tho you weren't) and being defended by a guy who PM'd you asking you to ignore the dickheads
>no more inviting that guy to your default public place which was filled with crappy models you had put in it
>no more taking your cars up the elevator shaft in the mountain while he tells you that his anti cheat program disabled the REAL hackers hacks

I slowly fell out of playing it. The scripting was fun when i was in middle school but eventually I found that all the front page games were RIDE A MINECART INTO BOB or some other kiddie stuff and I realized I was just too old for the site.

he's not wrong, but it happened more around 2009 or 2010. if you go back to literally any old thread from 2006-2008 you can see that the community was a hell of a lot different than it is now. people stayed on topic and were generally mature about shit, these days the forums are a childrens lego representation of /b/

Also, in addition to the foruming community being some what mature, the trading community is even more mature, there's the occasional idiot scamming child, but other than that it's pretty entertaining. It's essentially like the stock market, items have different values that go up and down based on demand, some are better than others, you can buy and sell the items, but the money you get back is taxed. I've been doing an awful lot of that recently and have amassed items totalling over $1,000 USD in value

I've been playing Roblox on and off since 2009, all I really do now is play with friends who have not so good computers, there are some pretty excellent games if you know where to look. The forums were fun to mess around in, but with the recent changes I've dropped it. The removal of tix and breaking of classic games recently has made me pretty sad, as one of my first loves of gaming and how I met some of my best friends has been becoming shittier and shittier each day.

Played a lot of tycoon/factory servers back in like...2008 I think? It was a good timesink, I should've done way more game modes. I'm honestly surprised it's still alive to this day.
