Doom can best be characterized as an honest effort to make a good game by untalented people on the back of a great old game.

And so it's alright, it's strength is in the core concept, everything else isn't executed very well.

Honestly i feel like the OST was the only thing i really disliked about D2016. It straight annoyed me sometimes because some compositions feel like a disjointed mess that completely ruins the game's dynamic.

I'm a lot into electronic music, and to me, Dubstep sounds a bit like pretty dead genre. People that still do this kind of music are litteraly "whos". I haven't heard a single dubstep music in the live music events I go to in years.

It was full of music meant to add ambience/atmosphere
and the intended feel of doom was to be hyperactive and the music is trying to pump you up which I think it does despite me not liking alot of the songs
