It is good MMO, you know. Not another Everquest/WoW clone, fun to play people were always helpful, whole idea of making whole game interesting (level scaling, all dungeons being viable and rewarding for everyone) rather than retarded "rush for last level, grind at endgame" approach and lack of kill stealing (everyone gets the reward) plus random evenets plus hearts instead of quests was very pleasant. Not to mention wonderful guild I joined.

I just explained why I think you are wrong. Funn enough, you also missed the point that whole game is "endgame". Level scaling is wonderful solution to related problems, making all game content viable for whole game instead of forcing players to focus on two or three "final" dungeons. It worked very well in TESO and GW2.

I've tried the game a few times but can't stick with it. The gameplay is alright, but lack of build variety sucks. The areas are nice looking but the overall story for the base game sucks once treahern takes over. Still mad about getting no benefit for Heart of Thorns pricing when everyone who didn't already own the game got the base game for free. Also everything I've seen makes it look like the story keeps getting worse.

Expansion pack is a little better priced this time around, but not sure I like the idea of so little content being added for $30 USD.

Also really hate what became of sylvari. I loved the idea of the race before the game launched, but it quickly became the special snowflake race for one of the writers.

Rev suffers badly from "jack of all trades, master of none" syndrome. They can do everything decently, but pretty much everything they can do can be done better by other classes. Also if you hate the fact that skills are locked to certain weapons then you won't be happy with Rev- their utility skills are determined by the legend you channel. Shiro's utility are always the same five utilities and there's nothing you can do about that besides swapping to another legend.

I assume you mean fractals and raids, because everything in the open world can be beaten with auto-attacks and moving once in a while. Scrapper is decent, hammer is pretty good for power builds, as long as you run multi-kit you should manage to stave off the greatest enemy in the game, boredom.

All you grind for is for skins, pvp is full of bots with thief and mesmer dominating with broken builds.
WvW gets ruined with every patch, and anet still hasnt fixed the lag with large fights, wich is key for the game mode.
Everyone plays the same build and the PvE is just zerg skill spamming or grinding way to much doing the same thing just to get le cool skin.

Oh yeah for Open World, almost anything goes, though I think that's a given. The issue is when you get into higher level stuff. Dungeons and Fractals I think you can skirt around as long as you know what the hell you're doing, both build-wise and encounter-wise. I think you'd just end up getting kicked or asked to change class if you tried to pack a scrapper for a raid, though- it just doesn't have the kind of DPS to justify bringing it.

Not that anon, but to me, that sounds neat because in a sense, you have access to another skillbar while in combat, whereas other classes are stuck with the one skillbar they have and can't change anything until after combat. It also doesn't hurt that I like the energy system as opposed to spamming shit on cooldown.

NCsoft didn't like Canthan architecture because it was a mix of multiple Asian cultures. This is apparently a cultural sensitivity over there.
NCsoft had ArenaNet remove the Canthan District of Divinity's Reach because there wasn't enough time to redesign the architecture. This is why the Great Collapse exists.
Josh notes that this anti-Cantha decision could have been made by some random over-sensitive executive in Korea, and may not actually pose a problem for the future, depending on who's calling the shots at NCsoft now.
Josh urges anyone who wants Cantha in GW2 to make their voices heard and be vocal about it, because NCsoft can't ignore a massive playerbase demand.
